OUR STORY

As two high school juniors passionate about civic engagement, community outreach, and international politics, we (Nora Pierce and Mackenzie Holian) have witnessed the tragedies of the Ukrainian Refugee crisis and have decided that we can no longer idly sit by. One of the major issues that refugee camps are facing is period poverty, so we would like to begin by collecting menstrual and hygiene products. We would like to inform, educate, and inspire the rest of our local communities to find the same passion in social justice that we have. We hope that in doing this we can make a tangible impact on even one person’s life.
